In 1997, the Webster Women's Lacrosse Club was established to introduce girls to the sport of Women's Lacrosse. Webster Women's Lacrosse Club is dedicated to teaching players the fundamentals and spirit of women's lacrosse in a fun and sportsmanlike manner. We welcome both beginner and experienced players to our organization.

WWLC Board Position Description Summaries

President and Vice President

  • Main points of contact for WWLC activities and seasonal events including but not limited to registration, clinics, policies, payments, etc.
  • Main points of contact with both High School lacrosse programs
    • Coordinating High School volunteers for clinics and practice
    • Submit list of 6th graders completing WWLC to high school coaches
  • Communicate club level policies including fees, coaching issues, feedback for club members, etc.
  • Determine seasonal fees, registration guidelines, team size
  • Determine Spring and Fall tournaments to participate in per year
  • Coordinate the reservation of facilities for practice, clinics, and games
  • Attend the RALL spring meeting in January
  • Coordinate the Referees for all RALL games
  • Attend monthly WYSC meeting
  • Coordinate the WWLC storage unit at Uncle Bob’s Storage Facility
  • Provide direction on coaches, equipment purchases, uniforms, apparel, WWLC budget, insurance, and special events
  • Organize and schedule all WWLC meetings with agenda and location
  • Assist and coordinate all WWLC related activities on a club level
  • Develop and coordinate the WWLC flyer to all Webster Schools
  • Maintain and track all WWLC equipment
  • Coordinate the website and registration process


  • Take minutes at all WWLC meeting and communicate to WWLC board members as well as any noted or applicable representatives at board meetings (high school coaches, club members)
  • Record financial transaction in the minutes to assist the Treasurer for record keeping and financial decisions
  • Provide support, as needed, on club president and vice president such as attending WYCS meetings, communicate with high school coaches or other key WSC points of contact, etc.


  • Manage and track all Club finances through Quick Books
  • Conduct yearly audit with volunteer accountant
  • Conduct and balance month end close in Quick Books against bank balance
  • Responsible for tracking and reporting the budget to the Board at all meetings
  • Manage the Seaway Classic Budget
  • Manage Club PayPal account
  • Primary signer of all Club checks
  • Primary designator and interface with local bank
  • Manage and record historic records of transactions both expenditures and income

Grade-level coordinators (three total, one each for grades K-2, 3-4, and 5-6)

  • Responsible for defining, reviewing and placing coaches for teams with each season (spring and fall teams)
  • Main point of contact for all coaches during each season
  • Communicating coaching responsibilities and guidelines
  • Responsible for working with President and Vice President to ensure all coaches have necessary equipment each season
  • Attends RALL and WYSC meetings on as needed basis in support of President and Vice President
  • Point of contact to club members for any questions or concerns regarding coaching

Apparel Coordinator

  • Responsible for managing all club uniform seasonal ordering and purchase as well as uniform handout to players.  This also includes coaches shirts and maintaining club uniform inventory
  • Main point of contact to any and all apparel vendors on uniforms, club apparel, etc.
  • Responsible for working with Seaway Classic Tournament committee on design, purchase and sale of tournament t-shirts


  • Responsible for creating and configuring all club registrations (spring, summer and fall season signups as well as any unique events such as clinics)
  • Maintain all club information displayed on pages within the website
  • Providing recommendations to the board on potential updates and changes to the website
  • Main point of contact via club email on any and all website or registration questions
  • Maintain and support, as needed, club member details located within the website database
